Rugby Texas

As everyone should know you are supposed to confirm with their referee prior to your weekly match.  Prior does not mean the day of the match. To reach your referee you can go here  REFEREE LIST or click the referee link at the top of the page.

There will be an all day controlled scrimmage at St. Thomas HS in Houston.  Teams from St. Thomas, Strake Jesuit, Katy, Kingwood, The Woodlands, Memorial, Lake Travis (Austin), & Alamo Heights (San Antonio) will play all day in both 7 a side and the more traditional 15 man rugby.

Admission is free and games will run from 9 AM -5 PM. If you have interest in HS rugby come out & watch.

With Christmas only a few days away & already two days into the Festival of Lights of Hannukah, the Rugby Texas Board of Directors would like to wish you and your family a joyous holiday season.  We all spend a large amount of our “free” time advancing and enjoying our wonderful sport, so we encourage you to relish this opportunity to enjoy your family and closest friends.

We have much to be grateful for, and often times at the end of the year we look for tangible ways of expressing our appreciation for the things we are passionate about.  A meaningful way to do this is with a year-end free will donation to Rugby Texas (which has the bonus of being a tax deduction).  If you are in a position the assist us in advancing our great game while helping the youth of Texas, please drop a check in the mail to our treasurer, John Shafto; he will make sure it gets deposited by Jan. 1.  Send it to:
